Concentration-discharge Relationships

The Concentration-discharge (C-Q) Relationships working group is focused on understanding how the structure of the critical zone and disturbance to the critical zone affects material export to the river network and water quality. Concentration-discharge relationships provide an integrative 3-D perspective on the hydro-biogeochemical control on surface water chemistry and source pools within watersheds. This working group is focused on using data from across our global network of study sites to understand how changes in land use and land cover (including land abandonment) influence C-Q relationships.
